COMMUNITY GIVING: Arrowhead Gardens residents bring the gift of warmth to Camp Second Chance December 18, 2017 8:19 pm
Every year for seven years now, residents of the Arrowhead Gardens senior-apartment complex collect socks as holiday-season gifts for people in need. This afternoon, they brought their gifts to folks living just blocks away, at the city-sanctioned encampment Camp Second Chance.
Left to right, in the photo above are CSC resident Melissa, AG’s CSC liaison Nancy, CSC manager Eric, and the AG sock-drive coordinator Diane Radischat.

Diane R for President 2018
11/10/2017
I ask for your vote as I believe under my leadership the AGRC welcomes all in our community and will grow.
The AGRC Mission Statement is its core:
To, provide a welcoming environment within the Arrowhead Gardens Community; opportunities for friendship, recreation, wellness and education, empowering seniors to continue an active and independent lifestyle.
I have continued to expand our activities via suggestions from you, and my own initiatives.
I began what is now a 5 year partnership with Bartell Drug, created the successful Wellness Fairs. The idea that we could have a successful Craft Fair has succeeded for 5 years now, allowing artists to show their works and make some money too.
I started the Straight Arrow News.
The AGRC works with other residents’ organizations giving a collective voice to improve problem solving and building residents independence.
There are on site Legal Clinics, chair massage and foot care (coming soon).
We have invited political candidates to meet with us, engaged the City of Seattle, WADOT and Police to help us work through neighborhood issues. I have continued to bring these resources to you throughout this past year.
I continue to work hard for the residents, addressing your concerns to the best of my ability. I am not a miracle worker, but I am a HARD WORKER. Let’s continue to grow this great independent community with as much innovation as possible.
Please I ask for your vote for AGRC President.
