If you would like to participate in AG Zoom Garden Book Club:
Contact John Walling ArrowheadResident@gmail.com
We will have meetings on Zoom once or twice per month.
Book Club information is posted here
Clubs > Book Clubs: https://www.thegardensgazette.org/book-clubs
The Book Club will use the Seattle Public Library Mobile Services for borrowing books. Deliveries are made to Arrowhead Gardens on the 2nd Friday of the Month at 9:15am. Each person is responsible for picking up and returning her book copy to SPL Mobile Services.
You may get print books, ebooks, or audio books by any means you choose.
Ebook readers can be Kindles, tablets, PCs, or smartphones.
Free Kindle software can be downloaded
If you would like to use SPL Mobile Services:
Make sure you have an active SPL account: https://www.spl.org
(If you have a King County Library account, you can link that account to an SPL account.)
Contact SPL to have Mobile Services deliver your books to Arrowhead Gardens
You can use the online Chat at https://www.spl.org/using-the-library/ask-us
or call the SPL main phone: 206-386-4636
When the librarian has your information, she will forward it to Mobile Services.
Mobile Services will contact you to confirm your instructions.
We will choose some books from SPL Instant Book Group
Those books are available in several copies and were popular in the past year.
When a book has been selected by the club, you can use the SPL catalogue to put a copy on hold with Mobile Services. Books need to be put on hold for up to 3 weeks before delivery to assure arrival on time.
"Where the Crawdads Sing" is available
in large print, regular print, and ebook.
I put one copy on reserve 3-18-2021 for delivery 4-9-2021.
