Having been a bldg rep for 4 yrs, initiating Camp 2nd Chance yearly clothing donation drive for 3 yrs, making chili for fire station 26 for 3 yrs as a thank you from all of us, Wounded Warrior Care Pkg drive in 2016 & having helped on various committees are, for me, opportunities to represent Arrowhead Gardens as a caring community.  Thank you again for nominating me; a humbling experience most definitely.

I am one of the current Building Representatives for Building C. I have enjoyed welcoming new residents to Building C for at least 3 or the 4 years that I have lived here. There are so many new things to let new people know about so that living here will be as good an experience as possible.

True Confessions Time:

I was all set to withdraw my name from the ballot. I thought “3 years is probably long enough.” Then I had a chance to welcome a couple of new residents to my building. And that was fun. I love to see their eyes light up when I show them on the calendar that there are at least 50 activities a week to choose to participate in. I answer their questions and show them other things in the New Resident Handbook.

But another True Confession: I do not want to be responsible for quarterly building activities. I am hoping that some of you wonderful Building C residents will create a group to do that.

You may not know this, but every quarter $50.00 is available for building reps to put on activities for their building. Pot lucks, pancake breakfasts, brunches, pizza parties. You name it. Work with me, Building C. Think of the fun things you can do.

So, I encourage you Building C folks to vote for me for one of your building reps. I’ll be ticked to pieces to welcome new Building C residents and help them get into the swing of things. And I’ll love attending all those great events the C Building event group comes up with.
